Pattern Making, Material Sourcing, Sample development & production for Placyf’s 2021 Collection

Garments produced:

1. Q1 Drop: Remastered Denim Jacket in 100% cotton black denim with fleece sleeves and ribbed cuffs. Features purple thread contrast stitching and metal stud buttons opening.

2. Q2 Drop: Easy Jacket in brown plaid tweed with half lining and fully bound inner seams. Features two pockets and a single tortoise button opening.

The fit and material choice of both jackets are crucial in the production of the two garments. The fit were relaxed, slightly oversized especially for the sleeves, and for the denim jacket, slightly cropped. The materials were medium weight to give structure, but breathable and light enough to be worn in Indonesian climate.

The rubber and embroidered patch were provided by Placyf and all the garments were developed in the span of 2020-2021.
